I have one more Halloween post to share – China Glaze’s Ick-A-Body from last year is a perfect Halloween polish that’s too nice not to revisit this year.

China Glaze’s Halloween polishes this year were mostly very dark, so I only picked up one from the collection. It’s Alive is a darkish green jelly base full of light green glitters in different sizes. It’s very sparkly!

School of Hard Rocks is a greyish green from Essie’s Winter 2011 Collection. I didn’t really mean to buy this one, but it called to me from the display I came across in Walgreens and I had to give it a chance.

Today I have swatches of the one glitter polish I’ve picked up from OPI’s Holiday 2011 Muppets Collection. Excuse Moi! is a rosy pink base full of lots of different colors and sizes of glitter.

Trendsetter is my one pick from China Glaze’s Metro Collection for Fall 2011. This is the only one that called to me – it’s a murky, mustardy yellow-green color, with gold shimmer.

Essie’s Winter 2011 Collection is showing up in salons and retail stores now – the collection is called Cocktail Bling, but it’s a set of six cremes with no glitter in sight. Essie tells us they were inspired by jewelry and precious stones. I picked up three of the colors, so I have swatches of Cocktail Bling, Bangle Jangle and Brooch the Subject.

Today I have swatches of the last two polishes from Dior’s Holiday 2011 Collection. Merveille and Apparat are both glowy reds with golden shimmer, but they’re pretty different from each other.

Or Divin is the gold polish from Dior’s Holiday 2011 Collection. It’s a soft, tannish-yellow gold that’s unique among my gold polishes.

Dior’s Holiday 2011 Collection is available now – the Vernis d’Or Collection is made up of four gold-themed polishes, all with a pretty gold shimmer. I’ll have swatches of all four, and I started with Exquis, a deep taupe color.

Today I have swatches of Pepe’s Purple Passion, another polish from OPI’s Holiday 2011 Muppets Collection. Despite the name I would call it a purplish red rather than an actual purple.

OPI’s Be A Dahlia Won’t You is my final polish review from the Nice Stems Collection from this summer. I have been saving these swatches for a Wednesday, since it’s a perfect pinky fuchsia!

OPI’s Animal-istic is a bright red with a hint of orange – it will be a great red for this holiday season. Swatches coming up!

Here are swatches of a Dior polish that’s a bit confusing. Mandarin Orange is a pretty peachy orange with gold sparkles, and comes with the new wide-but-tapered Dior brush.
