Dior’s Ultra Violet is another polish from their recent collaboration with German artist Anselm Reyle. It’s a bright, grapey purple.
Like the other polishes from this collection I previously reviewed (Pink Graffiti and Electric Blue), Ultra Violet is saturated and bright. It doesn’t flirt with neon like the other two, though – I found myself wishing that it was a touch more bright, or glowing. It almost looks a little dull next to the others. It’s okay, but not quite a star like Electric Blue.
The formula on Ultra Violet is nice and only took two coats for opacity, so that’s positive.

This picture shows even more the slight dullness of Ultra Violet. It’s just not quite as vibrant as I was hoping. Somehow it ended up reminding me of Dior’s Forget-Me-Not, a muted, flowery purple; it seems just a little washed out. Overall, a little disappointing.
