Dior’s Lucky is also from the recent Color Block Collection; it’s a bright, pinkish red on the nail. It reminds me of Hawaiian Punch color, or maybe red hots – it’s definitely got an artificial, red food coloring feel.
In the bottle it looks more pink, so I was a little surprised by the color on my nails when it dried. It really pulls very red in real life. It’s still nice and bright, though, and fits well with the other brights from this collection. It’s a bit brighter in person than it looks in my pictures, but I still felt fine wearing it to work since it’s a fairly traditional color. The formula was good, just like Riviera, and took only two easy coats to be opaque. It also dried really quickly. I find that the Dior formula dries very quickly on me and makes changing nail polish much quicker. The last time I wore a non-Dior polish I smudged it everywhere because I was expecting it to be dry but it was still goopy for much longer than the Diors.
This collection is available now at department stores and Sephora.
