OPI Nicki Minaj Collection Fly vs. Dior Saint-Tropez

I have a few more colors from OPI’s Nicki Minaj Collection to share, and I’m starting with Fly, a bright turquoise.

I liked how Fly looked both bright and deep in the bottle, and on the nail it keeps that look.  It’s bright but also a little powdery or something.  The formula is fine, but I did have to use three coats to be sure that the color was fully opaque.  It’s a great spring/summer color, nice and vibrant.  I think it will be good on toes.

I remembered Dior’s Saint-Tropez being a deep turquoise blue that was brighter than Chanel’s Nouvelle Vague, so I pulled it out to compare.  It’s interesting how different it looks next to Fly.  In the picture below, Fly is on my index and middle fingers and Saint-Tropez is on my ring and pinky.  In comparison, Saint-Tropez takes on an almost minty tone.  It’s a lot lighter, but both colors have a fair amount of green.  Saint-Tropez looks more springy to me than Fly.
