I started looking for this color after seeing it on lots of blogs, and it took me forever to finally come across it. I snatched it up when I found it in an out-of-the-way Walgreens!
A lot of bloggers who don’t usually review Revlon posted this one, which made me take note. It’s an interesting mix of glitter colors in a milky base, clearly borrowing from the indie glitter trend, so it’s not hard to see why it got some attention. I hate those weird quests that can start from this type of a polish, so I was relieved to come across it fairly easily during my normal routine. You know what I mean – when it turns into googling and checking eBay it’s both fun and an ever so slightly painful obsession.
The base on this polish is a light pink, and lots of people complained about it drying to an icky color. For me, it dried t0 almost exactly the same color as it was in the bottle and I find it be really flattering. I really liked this polish, it’s so perfectly on-trend and springy, and the dark purple-blue glitter pieces are really gorgeous floating in the pink base. I used three coats for these pictures and they went on easily. There was no fishing required; the glitter came out nicely.
This polish is so delicate and speckly; I really like the color. It’s much cuter than most Walgreens polishes, which makes it easy to grab if you happen to come across it while buying toothpaste. And the price is right; I think it cost me about $5.
