I had a glitter craving and just broke out my bottle of OPI’s Last Friday Night. It’s a light blue glitter from the Katy Perry Collection, with a mix of blue and holographic round glitter pieces. But first, I pulled out my Chanel Khaki Vert.
I wanted to re-visit Khavki Vert since I hadn’t worn it in a while and I was thinking that it was green enough to be kind of nice for spring. The formula on it is nice-it’s hard to describe, but to me it seems kind of drier than most nail polishes? It stays exactly where you put it and you can get really thin coats, and then it still levels out and turns smooth and glossy by the time it dries. This is just two coats.

Then, it was time for some glitter. OPI Last Friday Night is very gummy. It feels kind of like batter, you have to be sure to get most of it off the brush or you’ll end up with a big glop on your nails. But, that does mean that you get a lot of glitter out of the bottle and onto the nail. I used two coats to be sure to get a lot of glitter sparkle. I like the effect in the shade picture below, the green and blue go well together.

To finish up I added a coat of OPI Black Shatter. This was okay, but the glitter from Last Friday Night didn’t come through as much as I hoped. It turned more murky looking with Black Shatter covering up so much of my nails. It’s kind of interesting but not a favorite combo. Ah well.
