This is the other “sorbet” finish polish that I picked up from OPI’s Texas Collection (I also reviewed OPI Guy Meets Gal-veston). Do You Think I’m Tex-y? is a red raspberry color with a bit of blue in it. It’s shiny and fruity!
Just like Guy Meets Gal-veston, this color went on streak-free and was easy to control, even though it’s very sheer. This is three coats and I still have visible nail line, but these colors are so shiny and juicy looking that I don’t mind the slight sheerness. So I’m happy I tried these two, I think they’ll be nice to have for the summer.
I also think these were the right ones for me–Guy Meets Gal-veston is very close to Big Hair…Big Nails, and Do You Think I’m Tex-y is close to Too Hot Pink to Hold’Em. But, the two I picked have slightly more pink/blue than the others, and are slightly cooler, judging from other photos I’ve seen. I picked them by holding the little swatch/spoon thing at the OPI display up to my fingers, and they seemed nicer with my skintone (which is slightly on the cool side). Since these colors are so close, it was nice to be able to compare rather than just guess. I’d recommend checking these out in person if possible.
