Today I have swatches of a new Dior polish – Incognito is part of a set of polishes that Dior is releasing. The other three are all very bright, but Incognito is a pale, pinkish beige color. I wasn’t able to find any swatches of this online before ordering, so I wanted to share it first for anyone who’s trying to decide if they’re interested.

Someone requested a comparison of two new greens for Spring 2012: Dior’s Waterlily and Essie’s Navigate Her. They’re pretty different, as you can see in the pictures…

Here’s another polish from Essie’s Spring 2012 Collection – Orange, It’s Obvious! is a really bright medium orange. The exclamation mark is part of the polish name, and I can’t off the top of my head think of another Essie polish that has an exclamation mark in its name. It seems kind of OPI-like.

Although the name of this OPI polish kind of makes me shudder, it’s a nice glitter for a Valentine’s Day manicure. I tried it over a couple of different polishes to see what I liked best.

I have a few more colors from OPI’s Nicki Minaj Collection to share, and I’m starting with Fly, a bright turquoise.

Today I have swatches of two of Essie’s new spring colors, from the Navigate Her Collection. This collection is said to be finance-themed, but I feel like only a few of the colors are really clearly finance related. A Crewed Interest is a cute riff on accrued interest, but Navigate Her? I don’t get it.

Today I have swatches of another of the Anselm Reyle polishes – Electric Blue is a vibrant, screaming royal blue. It’s by far the brightest blue polish I own.

Dior’s Forget-Me-Not is the second polish from Dior’s Spring Collection. Like Waterlily, it has a soft, soapy-rose scent when it dries (but you should not stick your nose in the bottle to smell it-although you probably wouldn’t have gone that far!) I found out that when it’s wet and still-bottled, it smells just like normal nail polish. Not something to be huffing.

My year is off to a busy start, but I managed to get in some swatching this weekend. I’m starting with two new OPIs from the Nicki Minaj Collection, Did It On ‘Em and Save Me. Did It On ‘Em is incredible, it totally beat out several Diors to be posted first!
