Dior Saint-Tropez – Swatch and Comparisons

Today I have swatches of Dior’s Saint-Tropez, which was released to celebrate the opening of the Dior boutique there.  It’s a beautiful, Mediterranean-turquoise blue creme with that tiny bit of sparse silver shimmer that many Dior polishes have.  Many people have wondered how similar it is to Chanel’s Nouvelle Vague, so I have a comparison, too!

I wore Essie’s Smooth Sailing at the end of last week, and I enjoyed this color so much that I wanted to re-post it!  I already posted it as part of the Essie 2011 Summer Collection review.  Smooth Sailing is available even in the retail locations like WalGreen’s, where I picked mine up.  It’s a beautiful, soft blue with heavy shimmer pieces.

Nouvelle Vague is an older polish, from Chanel’s Resort 2010 Collection – at the time, Chanel’s Jade was still on everyone’s mind, so it was called the “New Jade” by some people.  It was mostly wishful thinking since they’re not really anything alike, but I like Nouvelle Vague all on its own, and decided to revisit it last weekend.
